Strawberry Rhubarb Pie

Ingredients:

Shortbread cookie

• 12 oz Beer: You want something that contributes to the flavor of the crust, sort of like you’re drinking toast. I have used Guinness 0 to add flavor without any further alcohol to muddy what’s going on, but a taddy porter also works well.
• 1 oz framboise liqueur (Château Monet)
• 1 oz rhubarb liqueur (Giffard)
• ⅛ vanilla extract

Instructions:

• Put the liqueurs and extract in a large glass. Stir. Pour in the beer (which should be enough to mix it without having to stir and trigger the carbonation). Drink it with bites of the cookie.

Bitter Scarlet Fairy

Ingredients:

1 jigger high rye bourbon (1.5 oz)

1 pony Byrrh (0.75 oz)

½ T red absinthe

½ T Cointreau

2 dashes orange bitters (half Fee Brothers, half Regan’s)

Instructions:

Just mix it together.
