Orange Peals

Album cover for "Orange Peals"

While working with orange noise, I thought about the overlap of peals of laughter, pealing bells, and orange peels.

I wrote a carillon passage on MuseScore, which you hear at the end of the song. It was fed to the AI as a melody, which it picked up.

It took a while to create a piece that had actual peals of laughter in them.

The music sounded sort of like a Halloween Carol (pictured on the cover), so the inclusion of Hell’s bells was a natural.

The lyrics are not AI hallucination. This is my hwimsicality.
